I seldom write personal commentary but in regard to Jainism I feel the need to express a personal dilemma in regard to 
Ahimsa in Jainism. As a peace worker I try my best to do so in all regards but when it comes to insects and higher animals I confess my resolve is lacking. I respect the way that the Jains adhere best they can to this principle.
